Cleanse, tone, and moisturize. but how about when you're using a facial mask? is it after cleansing or toning?

First of all you need to know the basics of facial care. This is it:

*Remove all makeup with baby lotion and cotton balls or pads. This is very inexpensive and you know whatever they make for babies has to be gentle to the skin. Most makeup removers have harsh things in them that burn the eye lids and more. Going natural is the best for your skin. Our skin is very sensitive.

A) Cleanse

Optional: Facial Mask(many to choices of masks)

B) Toner

C) Moisturizer

Notice that between A %26amp; B%26amp; C you can daily. The Facial Mask is a choice to pamper your face. Choose the mask for your needs. You need to know what do need from your facial mask? Is it for oily skin? Is it for dry skin? or is it to firm up the skin?

Before applying a facial mask it is good to steam your face first for

maxium benefits.

Fill your bathroom sink with hot water. Put your head under a towel over the sink without touching the water. Careful it is hot water do not get burned. Allow the steam to really open up the pores of your face a little more.

Do this for about 10min. Then apply the mask of your choice.

Your kitchen is a good place to find natural facial mask solutions.

OILY SKIN MASK: Strawberry Lemon Face Mask:

1 tsp. lemon juice

2 egg whites beaten

2 tsp honey

1 cup of strawberries

Blend all ingredients in a blender and apply to face for 10min.

DRY SKIN MASK: Banana Facial

1 med. smashed banana

1/2cup plain yogurt

Blend ingredients by hand and apply to face for 10min.

FIRMING FACIAL MASK: Papaya Pumpkin Facial Mask

2/3 Cup smashed Papaya

15oz can Pumpkin puree

1 beaten egg.

Blend ingredients in a blender and apply to face for 15min.

After your facial and you rinse off. Then you tone and finish with a moisturizer. Take time out to treat your skin to more natural products. If your face is important to you then spend sometime doing natural skin care. Do not spend money on chemicals for the face that are expensive and may give you more problems in the long run. Use fruits, nuts, herbs, vegtables.

*Remember toning will tighten your pours and you do not want tight pores when you do a facial mask. You want the pores open and ready to have it treated for whatever your skin needs in this facial.

Love yourself and do something nice for you and pamper yourself.

toning and moisturizing are always the last steps, so i would clean first, then use a mask, then tone and moisturize. nothing should come between toning and moisturizing, so sometimes i just put them under the same label so that i dont confuse myself.Cleanse, tone, and moisturize. but how about when you're using a facial mask? is it after cleansing or toning?
Any treatments like scrubs and masks are done between cleansing and toning. Serums and pre moisturizers are between toning and moisturizing.
for me i'll use cleansing oil2 remove all makeup thoroughly . and the final rinse with my cleanser after that i'll put my facial mask n after that toner , night cream ...
I believe a facial mask does both. It refreshens your face and it also tightens pores.
After cleansing, before toning.
